Daywise Itinerary

Day 1: Departing to South Africa    

Welcome to NRI CLUB HOLIDAYS – South Africa Tour! Today you will be departing from US to visit South Africa. These regions in the continent of Africa serve as one of the most visited destinations in the world!  While you are there, enjoy the close encounters with regal wildlife that takes you to an unforgettable journey.  Sit back on your flight and enjoy a Tour that you will have you come back over and over again!

Day 2: Arrival in Cape Town – Cape Town City Tour         

Today we proceed on an exciting sightseeing tour of this beautiful city with its majestic Table Mountain backdrop. Enjoy a scenic view at the top of Table Mountain Cable Car 3600 (weather permitting) for a panoramic view of the city and coastline. Visit the Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. Enjoy a delicious lunch. Later visit the famous Victoria and the Alfred waterfront, one of Cape Town’s biggest tourist attractions where you enjoy a guided boat cruise of the waterfront, Green Market square, District Six, walk through the company gardens, drive past the Houses of the Parliament, the City Hall, the Castle and Slave Lodge. The rest of the day is free; you can enjoy shopping at the Canal Walk Shopping Centre which has 400 Shops!

Day 3: Cape of Good Hope – Cruise to Hout Bay – View Jackass Penguins

Today morning after breakfast at the hotel, proceed on a full day Tour of Cape Point. We flank the cold Atlantic Ocean en route to Hout Bay. Once a fishing community now one of the most popular residential areas, the harbour still has a charm of days gone by. Enjoy a half-hour cruise to “Seal Island” or for the not so adventurous the fish market “Mariners Wharf” is a must.We now continue alongside the Indian Ocean, and stop to see the Jackass penguin colony, which has become well established, at Boulders beach near Simon’s town. Then we travel onwards until we reach Cape Point and the Cape of Good Hope. Said to be the romantic meeting place of the two mighty oceans, the Atlantic and the Indian, Sir Francis Drake the Explorer once called it “the fairest Cape that we saw in the whole circumference of the Globe”. And rightly so, it must be the highlight of any visit to the Mother City, if not South Africa. Our last stop of the day is at the Kirstenbosch Botanical gardens, home of some 3 500 species of Southern African fauna and flora. (B, L, D)

Day 4: Knysna – Enjoy Sunset Cruise

After an English breakfast checkout and start your journey to Knysna via Mosselbay. Mossel Bay is a harbour town where you visit the Bartolomeu Dias Museum complex which is the largest of the museums in Mossel Bay. Later visit Post Office Tree – A post box in the shape of an old boot has now been erected under the tree, and the tree declared a national heritage site. After enjoying a hot lunch continue your scenic journey to Knysna, proceed to your conveniently located hotel and check in. Later depart for your scenic Sunset Cruise. (B, L, D)

Day 5: Oudtshoorn – Cango Caves, Ostrich Farm, Cheetah Ranch & Crocodile Enclosure

After an English breakfast in your hotel, you will head to Oudtshoorn, which is set in a semi-arid valley. Drive through theWine lands along the Breede River, Valley to Oudtshoorn – ‘The Feather Capital of the World’. Visit the famous Cango Caves, where the stalaclite and stalagmite formations are an incredible sight. Later, proceed to the Ostrich Farm where you can enjoy shows performed by well-trained birds. You also have the opportunity to ride this magnificent bird and try your luck at breaking an ostrich egg, which is an impossible task. Enjoy Lunch. Thereafter, drive to ‘Cheetah Ranch’, where you can marvel at the grace and beauty of the world’s fastest animal. Visit Crocodile Enclosure. We then driver back to Knysna. Later tonight, enjoy dinner at an Indian restaurant. (B, L, D)

Day 6: Kwantu Private Reserve – Enjoy Magnificent Game Drives    

After an English Breakfast, proceed to the beautiful Kwantu Private Reserve. Check-in and enjoy a sumptuous Lunch. Later in the afternoon get ready for a thrilling game drive in Kwantu Private Reserve and get a chance to spot wild animals, spot a kill etc. Enjoy dinner at the Lodge. (B, L, D)

Day 7: Enjoy Magnificent Game Drives 

Early morning, (before sunrise) you set out on an exciting game-drive with breakfast to view the teeming wildlife savoring their morning kill which gives you a chance to spot the animals. Today enjoy a sumptuous Indian Lunch at the Lodge. Later in the afternoon get ready for a thrilling game drive. Enjoy dinner at the Lodge. (B, L, D)

Day 8: Johannesburg – Lesedi Cultural Village

After breakfast at the hotel, we proceed to the airport. Fly to Johannesburg and on arrival, get a transfer from the airport to Lesedi Cultural Village. Check in to the resort and freshen up. Spend the rest of the day at leisure. Lesedi African Lodge is a multi-cultural village set amongst the pristine bushveld and rocky hills less than an hour’s drive north of Johannesburg. Experience the vibrant and colourful traditions of the Basotho, Ndebele, Pedi, Xhosa and Zulu people on a short tour followed by a cultural show and a traditional Africa Feast. Be part of the traditional Africa for just a short while and we promise you will never forget the unique experience! (B, L, D)

Day 9: Sun City – Gold Reef Tour – Johannesburg City Tour

After an English Breakfast at the hotel proceed to day trip of fantastic man-made wonder of the world – Sun City. It is a city that knows no limits, a city that never sleeps! Enjoy Lunch. Each day and every night, from the heart of an ancient volcano, Sun City rocks you like you have never been rocked before. After lunch, we go for a Tour of the Gold Reef City. Here you have a wonderful opportunity to descend into a vast gold mine, named after the richness upon which the city of Johannesburg was built. Watch gold pouring, see the miners carry out their traditional tribal and gum boot dancing, learn a bit of their specially devised mine language – still used today to cover the many and diverse tribes who worked here. Stroll through the theme park reflecting the life of the mining town. Enjoy an orientation tour of this beautiful city and check into your conveniently located hotel. (B, L, D)

Day 10: Departure from Johannesburg   

After an American breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Johannesburg International Airport for your flight back home. Take back wonderful memories of your South African tour.

IMPORTANT: All tours will be operated subject to a minimum of 36 full paying passengers traveling together. In case there are less than 36 full paying passengers the clients will be given an option of travelling on any another departure date.

Payments

Payments: A non-refundable deposit of ____________ per person is due upon the time of booking (3 months prior to departure.)  All payments must be made either by personal/cashier’s check, or cash. Credit card payments will incur 4% processing fee. We require the balance payment 60 days prior to departure date. There is no contract between the company and the traveller until an initial deposit has been received. You may purchase travel insurance with trip cancellation on your own to protect yourself against losing the deposit.

Cancellation: All services are pre-booked in advance hence the following cancellation terms will apply after booking per person:

Cancellation charge per person, when cancellation is made:

60 days or more prior to the departure date: non-refundable booking deposit.

59-30 days prior to the departure date: 50% of the total cost + the deposit

29-15 days prior to the departure date: 75% of the total cost + the deposit

14 days or less prior to the departure date or NO SHOW : No refund.

Refund policy: No refund of any unutilized services and airfare such as meals, entrance fees, optional tours, missed sightseeing tours, hotel and sightseeing will be provided. All refunds will at-least take 60 days to process.

Terms & Conditions

Meals: The location and menus are pre-set for the meals provided on the tour. We reserve the right to change the location and the menu under events which occur beyond our control.

Hotels: We tend to select hotels which are more comfortable after a long day of sightseeing. All baggage and personal belongings are at all times and under all circumstances your responsibility. 7m Tours will not be responsible or liable in case of loss / breakage of such items from the hotel or transit all along the duration of tour. The company is not liable for any damages done to the room or the hotel during your stay there.

Transportation: We use air-conditioned/air-cool luxury coaches for ground transportation. No seat numbers will be allocated and daily seat rotation will be done as to be fair to every traveller. The tour manager has the final authority for the seating arrangement/rotation in the coach.

Cancellation due to VISA rejection: All clients travelling with 7M TRAVEL CLUB must possess a valid visa, if applicable. However, kindly note that Visa issuance is entirely at the discretion of the concerned Consulate/Authorities to grant/reject visa even after submitting all relevant documents and the company will not be held responsible for the same. The company will not be responsible for non-issuance of the visa due any reason whatsoever.

Travel Insurance: We highly recommend you purchase a comprehensive Travel insurance in order to protect your trip from any unforeseen cancellations, medical problems during the tour, trip cancellations etc. Disclaimer: We reserve the right to change any information or attractions before or after our booking the tour due to events beyond our control like bad weather, any natural calamity, or any accident. All rates and hotels are subject to change without any prior notice. Major road works may necessitate route change in the itineraries. Closure of Indian restaurants or change in the management may cause us to make changes in the itinerary. We will notify you in advance where we know about these changes beforehand, otherwise our tour managers or local representative will inform you of the changes during the tour. We cannot be responsible for any loss or damages, injury, sickness, accident, delay, discomfort, death, increased expenses, which is caused by the act or default of the company, and management or employees of any hoteliers, airlines, shipping company, coach owner/coach operator who are the company’s independent contractors residing outside our normal selection and inspection process. Any claim or complaint by the client must be notified to the company in writing with 7 days after the end of the tour.
